Dr. Jay Neal is an associate professor at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. Dr. Neal teaches undergraduate Food Safety and Sanitation and graduate Food Service Systems. His current research focuses on best practices for deli employees within the retail setting. He also focuses on food handler safety behaviors especially for non-English speaking individuals and developing food safety cultures.
