COURSE OBJECTIVE:

Implementing SQF 2000 Systems (October 10-11)

The objective of this course is to provide a common approach to implementing SQF Systems. Upon completion, you will have a full understanding of the SQF program and meet the SQF training requirements to be designated as an SQF Practitioner. Completion of HACCP training is recommended, but not required for those planning to attend this training course.

IM-8 The SQF 2000 Food Quality Plan
IM-9 Implementing and Maintaining Your SQF System
IM-10 Auditing an SQF System – an Overview

COURSE FEES

The SQF 2000 systems training course fee is $400.00 per attendee. A 20% discount is available for 2 or more participants from the same company. Groups must register at the same time.

Optional Course (October 12)
Implementing SQF 1000 and 2000 Systems with Emphasis on Leafy Greens Production and Processing

To assist the produce industry with the implementation of SQF systems, FMI has developed specific guidance and training for the produce sector.

An optional one day training course on the implementation of SQF systems for fresh vegetable produce will be held in conjunction with the two-day SQF 2000 course in Houston,October 10-12, 2007 . This training will focus on the application of SQF systems for leafy greens and will cover:


Implementing SQF 1000 for growing and field packing
Implementing SQF 2000 for processing

If you plan to attend the Houston class please note the following schedule:

Session One (October 10 and October 11): The course will cover the core modules common to both SQF 1000 and SQF 2000, plus the SQF 2000 modules. Course fee is $ 400

Session Two (October 12): The course will cover the application of both SQF 1000 and SQF 2000 for leafy greens growing, packing and production (Course fee is $ 200)

If you need to obtain an SQF 2000 certificate you should attend the course on October 10th and 11th. (Cost $ 400)

If you need to obtain either an SQF 1000 certificate or SQF 2000 certificate and wish to focus on leafy greens production and processing, you should the classes on all three days (October 10-12)(Cost $ 600)
