FMI Webinar: Overview of ADA Requirements Wednesday, November 18, 2015 (2pm - 3pm US/Eastern)

FMI is hosting a webinar on to discuss Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. This webinar will cover current developments under Title III of the ADA of interest to FMI members. Topics addressed will include the technical guidance issued by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in July 2015, emerging issues with respect to other power-driven mobility devices, and current developments with respect to digital accessibility -- most notably website accessibility. The webinar will cover the basic concepts of accessibility for websites, recent DOJ enforcement activities, the current status of DOJ’s long-awaited rulemaking in this area, and the recent proliferation of threatened litigation by plaintiff’s law firms in this area.
