FMI Webinar: National Family Meals Month: The Story of a Campaign that Turned into a Movement

Wednesday, June 1, 2016 (3pm - 4pm US/Eastern)

The registration period for this meeting has ended.

Family meals eaten at home have been proven to benefit the health and wellness of children and adolescents, to fight obesity, substance abuse and to make families stronger—creating a positive impact on our communities and our nation as a whole. The movement behind family meals was conceived by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Foundation, and in September 2015, the Family Meals Month campaign was rolled out in full force. Attend this webinar, to hear how food retailers, producers, and consumers banded together to participate in Family Meals Month and the resulting social media waves. Also learn about how you can get a seat at the table for National Family Meals Month at FMI Connect.

Speakers:
Susan Borra, RD, Chief Health and Wellness Officer, FMI and Executive Director of the FMI Foundation
Kelli Windsor, Senior Manager, Member and Digital Communications, FMI
