Following a number of successful Power of … reports from FMI, the Power of Seafood is the first in the series to explore shopper’s perceptions, attitudes and behaviors regarding seafood. While seafood may not generate the same sales volume as fresh meat or produce, seafood does attract a lucrative customer base and can serve to positively impact perceptions of a food retailer. This report incorporates the results of more than 2,000 consumer surveys with data from Nielsen, IRI and other sources to explore where and how shoppers’ shop for seafood. With only two in ten Americans eating seafood the recommended two times a week, this webinar and the associated report strive to provide insights and guidance for food retailers to optimize their seafood marketing and merchandising decisions.

Join FMI’s Rick Stein, Vice President of Fresh Foods, and Steve Markenson, Research Director, for this webinar revealing the results from this inaugural Power of Seafood research.
