The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) is pleased to announce a SuperSafeMark® (SSM) Train-The-Trainer Workshop. The SSM training and certification workshop was designed "by retailers for retailers" and is considered the best and most effective training for trainers, managers and associates that work in and around the supermarket environment. Successful graduates of this workshop will be authorized to provide SSM training to others.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES: The leaders of this SuperSafeMark training workshop will:
-Provide a brief overview of food safety workshop principles for certification.
-Conduct the SuperSafeMark Training Program for managers, associates, training officers and others.
-Use the FMI SuperSafeMark Program training materials to enhance learning.
-Implement effective training techniques for adult learners.
-Teach the participants food safety training skills and techniques as part of the workshop.
PREREQUISITE: This is a train the trainer workshop designed for those with some background in food safety.
Each participant will receive the entire suite of FMI SuperSafeMark Training materials updated to the 2009 FDA Food Code. Materials include:
-Food Safety and Sanitation Trainer’s Kit (Third Edition)
Guide to Food Safety and Sanitation (Third Edition)
-SuperSafeMark Quick Reference Guide: Retail Best Practices to Food Safety and Sanitation - English (Third Edition).
