Dr. Marcus Sredzinski | Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer | ScriptSave
Dr. Marcus Sredzinski has been a Managed Care Pharmacist for almost 30 years. Marcus received his undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Arizona with degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry and a doctorate in Pharmacy. Marcus has held leadership roles in clinical hospital pharmacy, Cancer Care Centers, Regional and National Plans with HealthPartners of Arizona and United HealthCare, Elan Pharmaceuticals and currently, he works as the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for a MedImpact company, ScriptSave. In addition, Marcus holds an academic appointment at the University of Arizona's College of Pharmacy. Marcus works on a number of key strategic initiatives for the MedImpact Enterprise including digital health strategies and consumer health care initiatives along with his clinical role.
Gary Hawkins | Founder and CEO | CART (Center for Advancing Retail & Technology)
Drawing on his work advising leading companies around the world, Hawkins is a regular guest lecturer at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in addition to keynoting retail conferences in the US and abroad. Hawkins is the author of three books including the latest, Retail in the Age of ‘i’, that explores the future of retail propelled by the exponential growth of technology. Retail Mindsteps (retailmindsteps.com) serves as Hawkins’ personal blog and repository of the myriad articles and papers written for industry publications where he distills the complexity of tech-fueled retail innovation into digestible and actionable insights.
Krystal Register, MS, RDN, LDN | Director, Health & Well-being | FMI
Krystal Register, MS, RDN, LDN is the Director of Health and Well-being at FMI - The Food Industry Association. She serves as the lead coordinator and issue expert for health and well-being programs and activities, nutrition policy, operations, and communication issues for FMI members. Krystal was a retail dietitian with Wegmans for 12 years and made significant contributions to company-wide wellness programs, health messaging, community events, and local media response in the National Capital Region.
Doug Baker | Vice President, Industry Relations | FMI
Doug Baker is a food retail industry relations vice president for FMI where he facilitates professional, non-competitive collaboration among member communities across supply chain resilience, private brands, and technology issue areas.
Prior to FMI, Doug began his career in the food retail industry in 1984 with Fry’s Food Stores. His 30+ years in food retail have included leadership roles at Fry’s (a division of Kroger), Kraft/Nabisco, and Federated Foods with focuses on retail operations, consumer packaged goods, and private brand development and marketing.
