The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) released its National Organic Program (NOP); Strengthening Organic Enforcement final rule on January 19, 2023. The final rule, which requires compliance by March 19, 2024, makes various changes that affect certified operations, certifying agents, and the NOP.
