Wednesday, May 12, 2021
(10:30 am EST)
Webinar Description:
As we begin to anticipate, yearn, and prepare for the day when the COVID-19 pandemic does not dominate the horizon, an area where FMI is predicting an increase in consumer interest is regarding social justice issues and food. We anticipate accelerated attention being given to food waste reduction, fair labor practices, food as medicine, animal welfare concerns and equal access to healthy food. If you are interested in getting a sense of how deep these sentiments run and what potential impact they could have, please save the date of May 12 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. eastern on your calendar. Cheryl Auger of MotivIndex, Inc. will present findings of their recent research on social justice issues and food. Her presentation will be followed by a discussion from members of Center for Food Integrity’s Trust Insights Council. Focusing on implications of these trends for the food industry.
This webinar is free and for FMI members only.
