FMI’s state government relations department provides FMI member companies and state association executives with support to manage the wide range of state public policy challenges that impact the food industry. One of the ways we do this is by hosting four regional meetings to bring FMI members and state association executives together to share information regionally, and to discuss legislative and regulatory strategies and issues of importance for the upcoming state legislative sessions. These topics are based on the annual FMI 50 State Outlook Report that is compiled based on member and state association intel. Use the above map to find what region your state belongs to.
This year, FMI's Southern Regional Legislative Meeting will be held on November 12, 2018 in conjunction with the Food Industry Association Executive's Annual Meeting at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Please use the "Hotel Information" tab to make your hotel reservations.
