USDA MyPlate National Strategic Partners from across the country gathered for an in-person MyPlate Convening: Innovating to Advance Nutrition Security on July 18th at Amazon’s Arlington Headquarters. Programming included sessions on collaboration and partnerships, valuable insights from Amazon Access and USDA leadership, and opportunities for engagement and networking. Keynote speakers inspired creativity and innovation to assist with communications to make MyPlate a household name.

FMI’s Krystal Register and Tabitha Benefield had the pleasure of attending the in-person MyPlate convening and were awarded FMI’s Gold Level Partner recognition certificate from Dr. Caree Cotwright, USDA Director of Nutrition Security and Health Equity, and Cindy Long, USDA Deputy Under Secretary, Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services (pictured below).
