RESERVATIONS AND GUEST ROOM RATES
FMI has a room block available for the meeting dates. The room rate is $259 per night, plus a $10.00 per night resort fee for single and double occupancy and 15% tax. The resort fee includes complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms, complimentary valet and self-parking, fitness center, private beach and indoor and outdoor pools.

The hotel cut-off date is Friday, July 1, 2022. Reservations made after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space-available basis and higher rates may apply. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel.
FMI Guest Room Policy for State Association Attendees
As always, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we are pleased to offer a complimentary standard hotel room for one State Association attendee per State Association on the two nights of the meeting (August 3 and August 4). State Association attendees should reserve rooms directly with the hotel. A credit card and one-night's deposit will be needed to secure the room, but state execs will not be charged for Wednesday night (August 3) or Thursday night (August 4). However, state execs are responsible for any cancellation charges incurred. See below for the hotel's cancellation policy.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
Cancellations require a 48-hour notice prior to your arrival date and can be made by calling the hotel front desk at 860-399-5901. If hotel is not notified, you will be invoiced one night day.
Please Note: FMI reserves the right to review the conference room block and remove those individuals who have not registered for the conference. One (1) hotel reservation per registered delegate will be accommodated. The hotel reservation should be made under the corresponding registered delegate’s name to avoid confusion. Hotel reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis, including requests for specific room types.
Unauthorized Hotel Solicitations
Hotel reservations should be made by calling the hotel directly or using the official hotel link provided in your confirmation e-mail. FMI does not use a third-party company to make hotel reservations or sell rooms on its behalf for this event. If a third-party vendor contacts you offering housing options, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with the event and entering into financial agreements with such companies may have costly consequences.
Getting to the Water’s Edge Resort & Spa
The hotel is approximately 60 minutes from Bradley International Airport (BDL). There are various transportation options available. Refer to the Taxi, Ride App Services and Rental Cars link provided for further information.
Taxi from the airport to the hotel: $127.00 flat rate, not including gratuity. Up to four passengers per vehicle. The airport recommends you set up a return reservation with your driver to go back to the airport. This is customary.

Weather & Retreat Dress
The average temperature in Westbrook, CT is 78-82 degrees in August. Remember to pack clothing that will allow you to be comfortable in this weather. Dress for the entire event is casual, which is the same as in years past.
