Junior Achievement Publix Storefront

Be a Storefront Sponsor of a Junior Achievement Capstone Facility

As a storefront sponsor, thousands of Junior Achievement students will visit your "store" as they participate in a "hands-on" simulated community, learning about personal financial planning and career exploration.

  • Junior Achievement BizTown® - this popular learning experience for elementary school students combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town.
  • Junior Achievement Finance Park® is Junior Achievement's capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration.
  • Engagement can be dialed up and dialed down.
  • High visibility for students and their parents.

Be a Junior Achievement Career Speaker

This program brings food industry professionals into classrooms to inspire and educate K-12 students about career paths, industry insights and skills needed to succeed in the food industry workforce.

  • 45-minute commitment per speaking engagement.
  • 1-2 volunteers needed.
  • In-person or virtual opportunities.
  • Share information about your company and career opportunities.

Volunteer for Junior Achievement in a Day

This exciting opportunity provides business leaders with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by teaching students about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness in a single-day classroom experience.

  • One-day commitment – 4.5 hours per class.
  • Team of volunteers – minimum 4-6 volunteers needed.
  • Choose your focus for grades K-12.
  • Training and classroom materials provided.

Be a Classroom Volunteer

This program allows members to directly mentor and educate middle school and high school students on important life skills such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship and career readiness through interactive classroom sessions.

  • Six-week commitment with the same classroom.
  • One or more welcome.
  • Training and classroom materials provided.

JA Inspire

Volunteer for Junior Achievement Inspire

The JA Inspire program is more than a career fair. The JA Inspire Entry track brings together community and local schools and is designed to help launch middle school students (grades 6-8) into their future — high school, post-secondary education and careers beyond. The JA Inspire Advanced track tailors the program to high school students (grades 9-12) and youth program participants (ages 18-25).

Following participation in JA Inspire, participants will be able to:

  • Gain insight into career clusters that interest them.
  • Make connections with adults who have jobs in careers that interest them.
  • See the connection between high school programming and post-secondary education choices and careers.
  • Collect information about the education required to be successful in a job.
  • Practice soft skills.

Sponsor a Junior Achievement 3DE Team

Junior Achievement 3DE team provides an immersive learning experience that equips students with skills, knowledge and the mindset needed to succeed in both academics and the future workforce. The Junior Achievement 3DE team encompasses several key features.

  • Teams consist of students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Students engage in real-world problem-solving projects.
  • Encourages an entrepreneurial mindset, empowering students to think creatively, take initiative and embrace innovation.
  • Offers experiential learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Students develop leadership skills by taking on roles within the team.
  • Community engagement through service projects.
