On May 11, 2012, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA or the Agency) announced an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain food/feed facility (hereinafter food facility) profile information on a voluntary basis (Information Collection Request or ICR) in conjunction with food facility reregistration pursuant to the Bioterrorism Act as amended by the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) appreciates the opportunity to comment on this important matter.
