I’m always excited to add new tools to my toolbox. Whether it’s something I can fix creaky furniture with or a new digital tool that simplifies otherwise onerous processes in my personal life, I’m always searching for new solutions.

That’s why, with immense excitement, the FMI Foundation team announces the new National Family Meals Month™ Bits and Bolts toolkit for retailers, wholesalers, product suppliers and manufacturers, service providers and community collaborators within the food industry. This resource takes all the previous retailer/wholesaler, manufacturer, community collaborator, and state resolution toolkits and brings the information to one place!

The Bits and Bolts toolkit is updated with turnkey copy and infographics for social media campaigns, headlines for press releases, broadcast scripts for local media programs and sample state proclamations you can bring to your legislature to declare September as Family Meals Month!

All materials included in the Bits and Bolts toolkit are free to download and customize as you get the word out about National Family Meals Month™ in September.

…What about beyond September? We have social media posts that you can utilize and customize every month of the year when key milestones and celebrations occur. 4th of July? Covered. National Homemade Cookie Day in October? Well, don’t mind if I’m baking up a storm just to celebrate!

We look forward to seeing all of your Family Meals Month activations in September and hearing about them during 2024’s Gold Plate Awards
