The food industry prioritizes food safety to ensure the well-being of consumers and maintain trust in the food supply chain. This year's food safety priorities will focus on traceability, produce safety, chemical safety, and sanitation and environmental controls.
Tariffs can be as complex as you want to make them – in terms of economics, law, and public policy – but at the core they are simply a tax on consumers. The thing is – consumers get this.
